I am currently on the CRJ700 and wanted to know from other CRJ drivers that interviewed at Skywest...what questions were asked regarding systems? Thanks! Most gouge on aviationinterviews.com isnt from CRJ drivers interviewing there mainly CFIs so that site didnt help as much.

Draw the engine and then walk me though it. Draw AC and DC electrical system label everything. Failures of buses and what equipment is unavailable. hyd pump availability logic. APR system when its avail and when it turns on. Anti-Skid system. What burner cans igniters are in (ya i dont know either). All std airplane limitations. This thing is no joke study like you would for your type ride again.

It can get in depth, but it's basically all the same stuff that shows up on PC's. I did a PC before the interview, that was my CRJ review. If you can draw the synoptic diagrams correctly, that will set them at ease right away. If you can't draw the HYD page, you might have a problem...

The only CR7 question I was asked, was how many fan blades does each engine have.

I was interviewed by an EMB capt, so he didn't have any technical questions.
