I'll be going there in the next couple of months. Interested in the following:

• Historical places
• Natural wonders - like we are going to climb Mt. Fuji and get to the top at sunrise for what I was told amounts to a religious experience.
• Kaiten sushi places
• Hot springs or spas
• Cities like Kobe, Kyoto, Osaka

If you have anything special, I am open to seeing it.

Is 7th Heaven a restaurant, sushi bar, hotel, nightclub, coffee house, ramen noodle shop, temple, national monument, museum, historical landmark or what? My husband and I are too fuddy duddy to wander into another house of prostitution by mistake like we did in BKK.

My guess is whatever you call it, with a name like 7th Heaven, there will be a happy ending.

"Wander in by mistake"? Men never ask for directions...especially pilots, but we never wander in by mistake

With less than a month before departure, I was smart enough to do a bit of research and discovered that I probably won't get my religious experience atop Mt. Fuji. I'm pretty healthy and fit, but I am not going to be able to do this. I'll just take the train to Kawaguchiko 5th Station and call it good.

Good call on not climbing Mt Fuji this time of year. It's way too friggin hot. June is the best time if you can find a day when it's not raining.

Recommend Ginza district and a walk through the Sony building. The emperor's grounds should also be on your list. Got to save a night for Roppongi.

There is a nice Italian place called Soho. Very very good. It's in Harajuku(http://www.soho-s.co.jp/). English and Japanese website. You will need reservations.

PM me if you want any more specific info on Tokyo. Lived just South of Tokyo for 3 years.
