Default Peeing in public ticket

Hello everyone, just curiuos if a urination in public ticket will affect me at all. I am currently already working at a regional, made a dumb decision and got a ticket. As long as I have no charges or anything just a ticket I am okay right?

Thanks

You'll be okay. Happened to my best friend when we were at Riddle and got **** drunk at Stetson and peed up and down a wall outside a building. Classy! Threatening to box the cop didn't help his case. Hasn't affected his otherwise successful career. I just happened to run faster than him...

If this is your only legal issue, you should be fine in the long run. Keep your nose clean from here on out.

But since you were already an airline pilot, they might wonder if you have an alcohol problem which led to bad judgment. The more time that passes, the better off you are. Hopefully you are really young...

How do you distinguish between "charges" and "just a ticket"? I'll bet the "ticket" says "Citation" on it somewhere, and it cites the law that you violated.

And by law that you violated, I mean it probably wasn't "urination in public", but "public indecency".

You probably shouldn't worry, though. The ipod, hair gel, and backpack will take care of you.

Some jurisdictions lump public urination under sex crimes and there's at least one guy who's now a registered sex offender from a case in Mass.

A ticket is exactly the same as being charged. If you just pay the ticket that is the same as a guilty plea and will be on your record as a conviction.

Your other option is to go to court and contest the ticket, you might even be able to demand a jury trial. Not sure if that would help though.
