Default FA Friend,of Germania Airlines,is Afraid to..

I have a Friend that works for Germania Airlines as a Flight Attendant that is worried about whistle blowing on the airline.

I know this is in Europe and is an EASA issue, not FAA, but does anyone have any advice or know of any protection she can get?

The things she has told me make it sound like this airline is going to be on an episode of Air Crash Investigation eventually.

Thank you

Drama Queen perhaps?
If she really think the operation is unsafe, quit the job.
Or talk to the pilots, changes are they know a tiny bit more about the safety aspect, unless they are from fu..istan on a suicide mission.

I agree, she should quit.

There were two big things she mentioned were issues.

1. Flight time vs rest in which the company is altering their timesheets after submission to reflect as if it were legal. Their crew was up for 40 hours straight at one point and the Pilots weren't responding to their safety check calls.

2. The maintenance seems shady. One of their planes has a recurring issue with the landing gear going down. Another has issues with the oxygen system and the masks. On one occasion there was a bird strike in an engine. It was inspected on the ground, cleared, and the next flight the engine caught on fire.

Is she a mechanic, too? Is that how she can differentiate between shady work and happenstance?
