Do many of their Captains move on to the majors or corporate?

I'm thinking about sending in my application to Aircar in the next few months, just wondering if you're able to choose a base, or how easy it is to transfer to one. Also, does anybody know where a payscale for this company is or what their senior pilots make, i've been looking and haven't found anything.

One night we went Harrisburg (MDT) to Erie and when we landed the plane looked like an ice sculpture of a box.

Another time we were at 8000' and had to descend because we couldn't hold altitude because of the ice...ahh yess the Irish Concorde does it again.

Ok, I found the answer that I was looking for, about the contract, in the ACC profile. I should have checked there first, my bad. Anyhow, can someone answer these additional questions which are not listed:

Can you choose your domicile? Is it possbile to request reassignment to another domicile?

Thanks

I did find a payscale at APC, but does seniority or years of service matter, or is it just one scale for FO's and one for CA's?

I am a new F/O and "bring home" $907 per 2 weeks. So I pocket $23,322 per year. Quite good for a 1st year F/O, compare that to all your US regionals as a 1st year F/O. The pay you see on APC is taxed and my numbers are take home, do the math. Got on with 400 hours and will make captain in October 2007, thats 10 months. DISREGARD APC's SALARY SCALE.

bgmann, did you get to choose your base, or is it just where-ever they put you. And so far, what do you think of the QOL.

You can bid for bases but you will be put where they need you as a new hire. If a base opens up and you are the most senior person with it bid then you get it. Just an example, I had my bid in for PDX and it took me a year to get it. Some people get the base they want within a month. TWEBB there is a small raise year to year. There have been guys that have left for FedEX, UPS, and more recently I know of someone that had interviewed at Delta.
