UPS begins service for eBay Canada

Canadian eBay.com users now have the same shipping option as their American cousins.

Atlanta-based United Parcel Service Inc. (NYSE: UPS) has begun package shipping services for Canadian eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY) users, letting them ship goods to buyers within or outside Canada through UPS.

Since 2000, UPS has offered domestic shipping on eBay's American Web site. In December 2005, eBay.com began international package shipping through UPS for U.S.-based eBay users. UPS service options are now part of the Canadian eBay site.

UPS shipping tools allow eBay sellers to calculate costs, request a UPS pick-up, track shipments, review transit times and print shipping labels all at the point of transaction.

UPS employs more than 1,500 in Memphis and is the second-largest cargo airline operating out of Memphis International Airport after FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX).
