Default Will slinging boxes help?

I am in the beginning of my aviation career now and one of my goals for the future is to work for UPS or Fedex. I was wondering if working for them now part time would help me out or give me an extra edge in the future?

Thanks

I know many FedEx pilots who got head of the line interview privileges because they were throwing boxes. There have been many threads on this forum on this subject. Do a search and research it ... works good at FedEx if you meet the hiring mins and we are hiring.

Hope this helps ...

You'll need to meet the minimums first, e.g. 1000 hrs turbine PIC, before you get the interview.

Note the keyword "future" in this sentence:

Although you are at the beginning of your aviation career, there will be no FUTURE career if you have that attitude towards people who are trying to help you.

Did I use it correctly?

Why not post your name on here so us FDX pilots can help you in the FUTURE.

Alright maybe I came off a tad harsh, but that had nothing to do with the question I asked. The remark about 1000 turbine PIC has no relevance at this point in time. I already know I have a long way to go.

Sorry.. just having one of those days.
