Default Not much to worry about with that.

Yes, but the odds of that happening around here are beyond slim. Even before you get to insurance or FAA issues, our general personnel philosophy is that you have to be at least a biochemist to work here, a nuclear physicist to fly intl, all of that plus several astronaut missions under your belt just to fly the 777 or 380, successful completion and certification of Jedi training is required for the left seat and of course you must learn the ways of the Sith to teach on it.

Say it ain't so, Joe. There you go again, pointing at your own contract. Now doggonit, let's look ahead to our contract. That's what the people really want to know, by golly. They want to know that we have a plan for our future. Me and Micro are mavericks, and we're going to lead this group to a decent wage for our heroic 777 flyers. You betcha!!

Let me get this straight! You guys worked as hard as you could to throw the senior guys under the bus. Now you junior guys, that are not even close to being able to hold the 777 are now threatening the senior guys if they dare bid it.

I understand the desire to live in the fog that ALPA creates, including the illusion that we, collectively, will make a difference. As long as there are more than two pilots there will always be more than two opinions.

"... no one of real import reads these forums anyway." I guess I was wrong.
Ask the corporate execs at Boeing if their machinists are "collectively" making any difference to them right now.......

read this and you tell me.....

Boeing/aerospace | Simmering Boeing strike scorching both sides | Seattle Times Newspaper

pay particular attention to the parts about how the individuals prepared themselves and are supporting the group.

it's all about personal sacrifice for the long-term good of the group - something (sadly) I don't think many FedEx pilots comprehend
