Simple FDX Vacation Ques
If I have vacation at the end of nov and bid a reserve line that begins towards the beginning of the month and is one big block of days will the whole block of r days get dropped (like during training) even though I only touch a few of the days at the end and can I possibly make a longer run-on sentence?

No, there are many threads with good advice on how to maximize your vacation. Try searching!!!
But...they will reconstruct your R days with your input via the reserve reconstruction line section on the website. You will owe 19 days minus the amount of days that you take on vacation.
Try these threads pig and see if it helps, sounds like your situation for Nov is pretty straight forward.

yes you can probably make a longer runon sentence if only you would try since many people would tell you that grammer and proper spelling sorely lacking in many of the posts on APC even though we are all professionals its just that sum of us r more professionale than others and some of us now how to uze speling check before posting online and you have to
remember on the vacation thing that R days are reconstructed and that the company will keep as many of the original R days as possible as they essentially create a custom R line to accomodate your vacation and the needs of the company
and the downside of bidding a reserver line with vacation at the end of the month is that you don't get any credit for leveling until you hit an actual calendar day of vacation so r day vacations are best if the vacation is at the beginning of the month so that you have a ton of leveling and will likely go unused at the end of the month
however, with the current line buyups, you will probably get a better bang for your vacation hours by trying to find a min BLG line and bidding that versus the r day line with the r day line, assuming 7 days of vacation, you can expand it to knock out 10 r days leaving you with 9 days of work somewhere in the month
with a regular line, you can expand your 7 days to knock out 48 CH and if you find an 80CH line, that will leave you with about 5 days of work in the rest of the month
of course, you can slide your vacation left/right to knock out an unlimited number of CH----just depends upon how deeply you want to go in the hole for next year
