Default House Hold goods move (FDX)

Has anyone had problems with the moving process from Subic? I had my entire shipment moved to non-revenue including the first 2500lbs of essentials, causing the shipment to be delayed. Their explanation was that they deemed my stuff non-essential. This from my discussions with the people in relocation. I've called they union and they suggested I contact Hanks office, clearly demonstrating they have no clue to the hassles and problems that office has caused in the past. My main question is, what is my recourse for this great inconvenience? Are they able to arbitrarily deem my stuff as non-essential? I have clothes, Christmas presents, medicine ect... in there that they feel I don't need. I was not instructed to separate and classify essentials because the entire shipment was under the first 2500 lbs that is supposed to go as revenue freight. Is there anyone familiar with this type of situation because the union has so far been lees than helpful, plus with the current meltdown happening I'm sure I won't be a priority. Any advice/help other than the normal mantra of 'grab your ankles' I get from the union would be appreciated. Thanks! FF

I'm starting to develop a problem as well.

I love the numerous "threats" that we all received along the lines of "Even though you have the contractual right to move your goods up to 18 months after you complete training, you'd better move your stuff out of Subic before Dec 28th or else...".

Then, after we scramble, sacrifice, stay in hotels, and put forth our best effort to do so, our stuff sits in containers rotting and collecting mold in some warehouse in Subic.

I guess we should have known better to help out.

One month after the stuff at my house was packed up, I am getting my revenue stuff tomorrow. My 2 bikes and non rev stuff hasnt left SFS yet.

Not to mention, I bid SFS and was awarded a line there for Jan, have been built a custom MEM line (Jan 5 transfer date), dont live in MEM, 12 days of RA, and my pay screen shows 54 hours for Jan instead of 74 for what I was awarded....an SFS line.

Dont know what recourse you would have. I am sure that you would be told that the relocation money you will be given is to take care of any unexpected problems.
