Just curious...Does anyone here know what SS's stance was on pushing for retroactivity? We already know, as a member of the "ALPA Age 60 Blue Ribbon" panel, that he was a proponent of getting on the age 60 train. Right?

After looking at the practice bid it is obvious that anyone who had anything to do in support of the DW over 60 retro mess, should not be allowed near a MEC office. Thanks again for listening to your members.

Honestly at this point does it even matter? There is no way that I can imagine voting for DM. We've simply got to get some new blood into the head shed of our union. So, unless somebody else steps up to the plate in the next two weeks, you'd be crazy not to vote for SS.
It was pretty much a rhetorical question for all those on here, who based on what our current leaders have done, are pushing for "change" in our leadership.

Not that they will listen, but email your rep. I did with no response, I think the DW hangers on will just be voted in and that will be that. I have very little faith in the system anymore. These guys just keep voting themselves into office. You just pay your money and don't get any say. Isn't this what we fought the Revolutionary War over? Taxation (alpa dues) without representation.
Hey, I am giving credit where credit is due. I emailed VT and told him what I thought. I had an email response within 2 hours. That is how it should be, and I appreciate that kind of response time.

SS for CHAIRMAN.
Yep, I traded a half dozen or so emails with VT on this about 2 weeks ago. He's always been quick to respond, in my experiences! Told me he was starting to get lots of input from his constituents!
I emailed my 3 block reps and received an answer from all three. The response was nice, which is already more than I can say for the guy who left as my LEC rep.
Funny too that the guy who left declined to run for his own position, but he now feels he should run for Sec/Treas. I guess it is because he knew he stood no chance of winning, but he thinks the good ol' boys might put him in a job. I hope he has completely misjudged his chances of winning.
