The source appeared to come from E/NE - roughly a 060 course just outside of the tall buildings of downtown proper. I'm assuming it is a telescope mounted system as it seemed pretty accurate in hitting us more than one in the cockpit.
It would be nice to see these bozos caught.

I was hit tonight on my way into MSY tonight. Had never had it happen before. Was about 600-800ft from touchdown coming in on 19. Thought I saw a flash out my right eye so I looked out the window and they hit me square in the face. It shocked me hard. Had a few military guys in the back come up after the flight and say they were hit several times as well in the cabin. I gave their exact location and police were dispatched. Hopefully they catch them. I'm not liking this new fad.
On a side note I'm still feeling as if my right eye is a little "fuzzy". Kinda like when you look at a bright light then blink at the wall you can still sorta see that image. How long am I expecting this to last for?
