Wondering if you guys might be able to post these two trips (without the names of the pilots flying them), just to get an idea. I am not questioning the SIG here, just curious about how FDX builds trips that are considered DP's.

According to the SIG these particular pairings tend to have body clock changes with out a chance to reset. Generally speaking they are 10 hour duty periods with 24 hours off. Forcing a constant day, night, late night, afternoon shift in duty start times.

The guy trying to help our "Manning" problem, now has a Captain assigned to his first DP trip:

As for the Capt seat, went to a reserve .... as the system is supposed to work. Hope someone knows the Capt.

YES! I meant to say that in my post. Captain is on reserve...like it is supposed to happen. Thanks Jag for pointing that out.

I have been told that although the FO in question in the past has flown a disputed pairing before. This time he is very sorry and did not mean to pick up the two this month for a total of 130 hours of dp hours. Cut him some slack. OBTW he said. "enjoy your new job on the panel."
