I'm not saying Brad is a bad guy at all. I appreciate his time. From looking at his schedule he has spent a lot of time in the MEC office. I don't want a messenger, I want an independent thinker who will stand up to the leadership when he disagrees with them. And I can assure Rich "Mongo" Coombs will do that.
If you don't believe anything else about Rich believe this. He will stand up to anyone anytime when he disagrees. And at 6'5" 240ish pounds people will listen. A lot of our crew force don't trust ALPA (I do by the way), but Rich is unbending in what he believes and he is running to change the messenger status of our past elected officials.

I'm not in the LEC but Rich is the guy with the perspective we need as a block rep. Rational, thoughtful thinker. Knocked heads with him when he played football at Annapolis and reacquainted ourselves here (though minus the headbanging).

Isn't that kind of what our old leadership did to our membership?

Rich didn't say that, I did. That is my assessment of a man I've know for 15 years. He will get his word out soon, just give it a read.
