Funny, I was thinking the same thing as I hovered over the "submit" key....
But it does seem that the 727 is sucking "hind teet" pretty much every month.
But I guess it does make good business sense for the company to thin out all the wide body seats by forcing, sorry "Excessing" folks to the 72. Then counting on all the players to suck up any shortfall by flying extra.
