Of course, you do mean the current constitution, as legally amended pursuant to constitutional law, right?
I agree with you in principle, but a lot of people are wound up about us not following the original constitution, which, of course, is not what we live under.
The original constitution, along with the amendments, are the supreme law of the land, period. That is what we live under, not some sort of "living, breathing" constitution as more than one of our leaders has stated.
And principle is a very important thing. Ignoring ones principle for political correctness, deal making, personal gain, or whatever, is just prostituting ones self.

Yep, I'm just gonna shut up and color. And (union/MEC/NC) please don't waste ANY more money or time on polling or asking for member input. That's a waste of both my resources and yours.
Exactly, what representation?
New T-shirt..."I spend thousands of dollars in yearly dues and all I got was a crummy 3%, piddly signing bonus, 4a..." Okay, a bit wordy.
I know, elections have consequences....where have I heard that before(?)

I agree with you. When you find me a politician from either (any!) party that does more than give this lip service, let me know!
Oh well....It was fun to pretend we would show some cojones. The opposition has been crushed like protesters is Saudi. But they even got paid off more than we did. We might as well get use to taking what the company offers. Unions are not en vogue these days and when the Corporations buy the next election and they get their way, we won't have a union to complain about anyway. The writings on the wall, the end is near, use your 3% to buy an endless supply of survival rations and dehydrated water.........sorry I channeled my inner Glen Beck....

The new phrase is: "Personality is the new moral and character"
