Anyone hearing anything in regards to the 767 and if it will be it's own bidpack or be flown in the same bid pack with the 757 or 777? I know it's not a common type with the 777, yet, but I heard that was a possiblility.
When can we expect a bid for it and when can we expect training to start for it?

Rumor is it will be a separate bid initially, then become part of the 75 bidpack

After the initial bid is cancelled and then rebid + 4 days
Rumor is Aug/Sep time frame

Something comparable to what Continental has-- out of (let's say) 400 pilots on a 75/76 bid pack, the top 100 would be paid a constant wide body rate--the remaining 300 would be paid at narrow body rate UNLESS you flew a 76 trip, then you would get the wide body rate. As good as crew pay keeps up with every other aspect of our pay, this should not cause any problems whatsoever.

Well - If the 777 is just another "widebody" aircraft what excuse would the company use to make the 767 pay "narrowbody" rates?
This is kind of what I was obliquely hinting at. They won the 777 arbitration because, traditionally, the pay for a new airframe was determined by how many rows that plane has in the the passenger configuration. Two rows=Wide Body. One Row=Narrow Body. The 777 has two rows The 767 also has two rows in the pax configuration, so the Company would probably get pimp slapped in arbitration if they tried to impose narrow body pay on the 767.
At that point it would be hard to simply fold the 767 into to 757 bid pack. Who knows, I could be totally wrong.
Side note: So the bid for the 767 will be after the one that's supposed to be coming in the spring?

It could have one, REALLY wide row
