Since you are an MBA, you can pop that HP12C out and figure out how much an 11 minute commercial would sell for on a primetime show. You also can factor in that NBC shouldered the production costs. If you don't think part of a CEO's duties involve the occasional 30 minute meetings to promote the company, then I don't think you are ready for that job.
It seems incredulous that you earned an MBA without a solid understanding of marketing.

Plus, after the checks, wouldnt the FAA have to sign off on Brian riding jumpseat in any event?
No FARs were broken.

I thought it was a good piece. And a good way to repair the damage done by that delivery guy chucking the computer over the fence.
Or at least put it out there. Hard to undo.

I saw the Brian Williams piece and I thought it was great. As for the corporate culture here, just helped a bud get hired and after the winging ceremony he said "for the first time in my life I am actually proud of the company I work for".
We (FedEx'ers) may banter back and forth on here and moan and groan about this and that, but when the dust settles this is one of the best airlines (the best IMO) in the world to work for and I am proud to say I'm here too, after 16 years.

I am glad Wilson was there, had brian gone down in flyover country he would have been more lost than Tom Hanks on his deserted island. Five years later he would be regaling the incredulous folks at 30 rock with tales of natives with guns and 48 stickers in their truck windows.
