Thanks. On the Southern Air profile, it says you guys have 10 777F on order. Is this accurate and are those replacements for the classic? Is that spurring this hiring?

First of all, no more DECs. That was for the Classic only. Unless they hire into the -200 (doubtfull at this time), no more DECs.
Second, everyone is PIC typed, except classic FOs who get an SIC type.
Third, SAI sold a number of 777 options. The 4 on property, appear to be the only ones left. SAI is trying to get more; but, there is roughly a three wait on new orders. 777 conversions aren't practical and my guess is no one is selling their options at this time.

So does Southern provide an airline ticket for the interview or are you on your own? I read that the pay during training is only perdiem, based on 2.50 an hour that is only 1600.00 per month until you finish IOE.

Pay for your own airline ticket and hotel for the interview. Per diem is $60 a day or $1,800 a month. Remember, this is tax free; so, it equates to roughly $2,400 a month of taxable income.

SAI never had any options on 777, that would be Oakhill. I do believe oakhill has sold off some of those original 10 options but no body in the real know is talkin. DHL wants more from us but it is a hard airframe to find right now

And...? Yes, your probably correct (as many of the guys have been saying lately - I haven't seen that in print); but, Southwest doesn't own their airplanes either. Actually, they've probably been sold to the Neffs; and SAI is leasing them back! Doesn't really matter to us; other than can you bid to it and get the type rating/pay.

As an aside; -400 Capt bid just came out. New hire interview dates may have been expanded to four days.

So, by a show of hands (i.e. please post); whos' got interviews and what days?

I did not have a recommendation. They did get back to me on the interview, scheduled for the morning of the 10th.
Thanks
