Any Gouge on taking the train from the airport to downtown bonn/cologne?

Thinking of having the wife come over, so simplicity is good

It's really pretty easy. You just have to walk (and climb and descend some stairs) to the train after clearing customs, buy your ticket, get on train, get off train, walk to your destination.

If you follow the signs, it's difficult to get lost.

Olly- Take the ICE train toward Cologne. It stops at the FRA airport and takes @1 hour to get to Cologne. To go to Bonn from FRA, get off at the Siegburg/Bonn station and take the local train to Bonn. Any questions, go to the DB office or ask the locals.

thanks all! seeing many web comments suggesting the Regional trains along the RHine river as very scenic +, cheaper +, but takes twice the time as the ICE trains -
