Me to a "T".....Im still floored that with my lack of infrastructure growing up, my smart decisions to enlist in the USAF, my perseverance, and being broke the whole ride, that I have made it as far as I have in this career.

Even with a flawless record and 19 years flight experience, I am overlooked. I have come to accept it. I am coming here because I chose to, and other carriers have snubbed their noses (probably in great part because HR runs their shows and is a general trainwreck with their matrix paper formulas) at my abilities as an aviator, a teamplayer and human being. I dont have any issues or hang-ups in my background, but my point is, people come to places like this for several reasons which may be unseen or just unlucky. Its not always the person.

Dude.... you don't have a clue what you are talking about. Some yes.. all no... and as someone else said above.. I will with only a very few exceptions put the guys and yes GIRL that I fly with everyday against the very best anywhere in the world. P.S. I am a former mil pilot myself... and NO.. I am not biding my time here until some "respectable" carrier calls me....

Do us all a favor and crawl back into the hole you came out of....

Most of Connie K's guys and gals I know are exceptional folks and fantastic pilots. Many are there not because they couldn't hack it at the Majors; but because they don't want to run the Major Airline Goat Rodeo.

Also, how many Airline owners have raced Top Fuel Dragsters? Rock on Connie K!

Lets see........ Leave a senior position with good bidding choice's, predictable time off, tickets to and from home, a very livable salary,........ to maybe have to commute to Newark, mooch rides to and from home, a lousy first year salary, free health insurance, jerk gear for some person who thinks they are special, 3 on 4 off, 4 on, 3 off, constantly jumpseating.........with only 10 years to go, its a toss up.
Ha! Fantastic reply!

Don't feed the troll, I loved my time at K4, some of the best pilots , and people I've seen, and some of the best flying I have ever done.

the lousy first year salary is a thing of the past, do your homework, first year at the big three and you are equal to or most likely better off financially at the majors first year.

Random question here: Does Kalitta provide you an international (unlocked) cell phone or reimburse you for charges of making up to 17 days of international calls?

They provide captains with one for business related calls and internet. Personal calls on your dime. Skype, magic jack, FaceTime come in handy.
