After reading all this negativity you still want to work here?
As long as there people willing to work for nothing for a company that treats you like crap nothing will improve here.
Almost all the guys that got awarded CA on 737 just now are pretty junior, that tells you something. But since no senior wants to fly it you might upgrade quickly, depending on fleet expansion.

I think almost everyone was FO on 777 or waiting for IOE. The most junior got hired in 2011 and was furloughed for a year, I think.
One 777 was supposed to come a few weeks ago but delayed until July, robthree said. You never know here. We were supposed to get a Bangladesh, crews only, contract but of course that fell through. Nothing that we know of is in the works, but they would never tell us. They treat us like idiots here: There is no work for 747s out there, we don't have any money, yet we buy an airline.
Coming here you spoil the industry, where they pay crap and want more cuts.
Listen to robthree, Please stay away.

While I feel for your problems, I disagree with your assessment that there is no work out there for 747's. Kalitta has been much busier than usual for this time of year. We were even busy during Chinese Golden Week where I usually sit for a few days. The Japan to US flying with the longshoremen strike last month and the airbag recalls has been exceptional. I have seen everyone but Southern on the ramps in Japan flying extra flights.

The "There is no work for 747's" statement is what management told the crews when they parked the -400's.
We know that there is work available.
The statement is just a running joke with SAI crews at this point in time.
