BTW, all the ABX guys have been really cool with sharing information, Thanks.
Trying to pin down how long training is until you get on the line:
Indoc 5 days weekends off
Systems two weeks (5 days a week M-F)
8 FBS's done in sim with no motion (how long is that?...8 days?)
7 sims (how long is that?...7 days?)
Check ride
Qualification loft
IOE (month long?)
Guessing 2.5 months until on the line?

Yes they are in a few areas, in that the Atlas B767-200's have P&W engines, while ABX B767-200's have GE engines.
Just off the top, Pratts have EPR gauges, GE's don't. Also different oil cooler systems between the two, which means two exact opposite procedures for dealing with a high oil temp.
As mc says, get your personal stuff at home in order because Ground School, Sim, IOE, reserve after IOE (aka "Pledge Month") will leave you feel like drinking from a fire hose. Closing out on mc's bit of advice: There are 3 ways to do things: The right way, the wrong way, and the ABX way. The quicker that you figure out which way counts, the better off you will be.

Other training (yearly proficiency training events) are scheduled in the sim each week. The FBS and Sim schedules will have some breaks which are good for information digestion.

Typically 2 or 3 days in the sim and a couple of days off. Some times as much as a week off. It aids information digestion.

I wish ABX would do a 'thanks but no thanks' type of thing if they aren't interested in a candidate after we take the time to fill out the application and take multiple tests. Its been radio silence from them thus far and I am a current 767 pilot with a check airman and chief pilot background in the 135 turboprop world. Also have my 4 year degree. I'm left wondering if they simply aren't interested or if I've slipped through the cracks one way or another and just need to get noticed.
Obviously, I'm not owed anything by ABX but I'm pretty sure I fall into the 'qualified' category (maybe I am light on 121/jet time for their tastes- my 76 gig is my first 121 gig and I started last Sep) and they apparently need a lot of people so I would be curious to know why they aren't interested in me- if for no other reason than learning what I need to improve on to get noticed.
I view ABX as a probable career stop and feel a little frustrated by things so far, but maybe I am being impatient. I know that at a smaller company like ABX being at the front of the hiring wave is extremely important, which is why I'm getting impatient. I was waiting for the hiring window to open, and I applied the day it opened. Left a voice mail with Tracy after resubmitting my resume a few days ago, but haven't heard back. *shrug*

Just go apply at ATI, it will all be the same company in a couple years. If your worried about mergers just take a quick glance at the last ATSG airline merger.
I bet l8frieght and motorclutch will be best friends and we will all live happily ever after

Thanks, good info. I live a little over an hour away from kiln and trying mentally to get a plan together for lodging during training. I might rent an apartment. Not sure.

While your at it consider buying the Captains house, test drive a new red corvette, buy an airplane and flirt heavily with that new redhead twenty something at the nearby convenience store LOL.
