If you are considering National...

president #3 in 4 years just put in his two weeks.

No idea who president #4 is going to be but the rumor mill is pointing toward another shady dealer from the holding company in BUF. president #2 came from the holding company and did his best to annihilate morale. #3 was an actual airline person with actual airline management experience and seemed to be piecing the airline back together. guess that isn't allowed. back into the toilet we go.

Those places never change and never will. You'll get RA from Orange Air probably next.

Islip has been postponed, read cancelled, due to not enough aircraft. Did they not know this already?

And here is a small sample of the reaction.

Dowd: First rule of flight ? have planes | Long Island Business News

"Did National run out of money? Is your credit rating in the tank? Did you suddenly find out that Boeing 757s were too costly for your puny little fleet of planes? Did you call Airbus for a quote?"

any bets on bleeding 119s and how long we last when that ****storm begins?

The town of Islip is a big problem. Noise complaints are a big issue as well. Mostly, because of a rise in parking charges, ISP was no longer in competition with JFK and LGA. Islip was booming in the 80s and 90s. Eastern, Piedmont (the old really great carrier not that joke it is now) United, American, Delta and USAir, all served ISP. Maybe Elite will revive it.

Exactly. Don't come here if you have other options. Sinking ship.
