To be honest, I'm not sure. I do know that Omni is one of the few places that still heavily weighs on pilot recommendations. So if you know someone that is in good standing, that (in some cases) can trump amount of time or type of time. I'm sure it's case by case, but as with every other job out there, it's getting noticed.

I think the more important thing, when it comes to training, is FMS experience. It's a tough training syllabus so it's there's not a lot of extra time to teach you the airplane and how to work the computer/flight guidance.

That is just an observation.
