What's the schedule like at Sun Country? Are we talking 3-4 out-and-backs per week on the scheduled flights? Do you guys do any layovers on the scheduled side?
How much of your flying would typically be non-scheduled or military charter?

I would say bottom half of the seniority you will do more military and charter. Although some of the mil and charter stuff when it comes up pays well, then senior guys will bid it because of the money.

I have been told they have no idea what they are going to do for 2015... We are properly staffed for the 22 (21 +1 that we are leasing for the winter)planes we have. I think management and ownership are waiting to see what the attrition looks like when we get a contract to vote on. Good news is the flight attendants just voted in their TA today. The pilot group is the last now to get a contract. I think it will happen soon now that we are the last and biggest financial ding to the companies bottom line...

There has got to be some attrition with the hiring going on. Any rumors as to how many? Interviews?

as of the current roster list there was zero attrition. So as I said in the last post... NO need to interview now. There are always rumors. But they dont mean anything.

Flight Attendants just ratified their TA. There is more momentum towards getting a new pilot contract at Sun Country. Most sections are TA'd, big ticket items like compensation, scope and retirement are still on the table. Mediation continues in January. Sun Country as a company is doing well, pilots need to be compensated accordingly and be brought to industry standard s you can see from the pay scale comparison below.
