Gooneybird 71 Just curious, where did you fly the CV-580? I flew the CV-580 for Summit Airlines from 1983-88 in PHL
Thanks

Thought I would bring this one back. If anyone from SCA is on here just wondering if there is any word of hiring this summer or fall. I see that they are looking for ETOPS qualified dispatchers and was hoping this meant more DOD charters. Any info would be great.

Just curious does your health insurance start day 1 if you are hired, or do you have to wait 90 days? If you have to wait, do they offer COBRA?

Spoke with one of their newly minted captains recently and it sounds like some additional hiring this fall. 8 - 10 perhaps. Many at SCA are waiting for the DAL interview process to begin. (Along with every other airline)

Class starts Oct 24th. There are 6 in the class and they said there will be another class in November.

Minneapolis based with 3000+ B737 hours. Are these interviews only arranged for those with an internal contact? I'll continue to send in the resume hoping one will bounce back.

Good luck to those who got in. Looks like a great local operator. Hit the books and stay well ahead on the course.

What's the latest on your contract? Is anything being discussed?

I'm glad everyone there is happy and it does seem like a great fit for some. I'd just like to see more pay and work rules there for when other airlines are compared to you in a contract negotiation.
