I would say competitive is 5000tt, jet pic. They like glass, fms. I think a lot of the regional guys being hired now are guys that were once captains at pinnacle, mesaba, and colgan. I bid reserve for the first year due to the low pay. I'd rather be home on reserve making 75 hours than hold a crappy line with 14-15 days off and overnights worth 70 hours. QOL on reserve has been awesome. I've flown 200 hours in the last 7+ months and only been in a hotel probably 15 nights... Can't beat that. The day turn lines are great. I think i Should be able to hold one with about 1-1.5 years of seniority with the hiring, growth and attrition. Those lines are anywhere from 15-20 days off a month. As was previously said by another poster- This can be a career place for some people. It all depends on your situation and what you want. If your goals are to make the most money possible, be gone all the time, and have to give half of it all to your ex-wife in 10 years this isn't the company for you. We are all keeping our fingers crossed that when this TA gets to a vote that it will be something we all can live with and be proud of.

Any ideas on what the improvements will be in the TA? You guys are ahead of us at Miami Air, and we're def looking at you guys to help raise the bar... which will help us as well.
Do you guys currently have any added benefits when operating on the charter side of the house, vs the scheduled side?
Any idea what the TA will have for retirement, 401k contribution by the company etc?

We are going for 100% deadhead pay, and a competitive wage, Around 180/hr for a 12 year capt.
The union reps really dont tell us much because they dont want rumors and *****ing before we get a chance to review it and vote.
From what I've heard the flight attendants have a TA to vote on. So hopefully ours isnt to far behind.

Honestly, on charters get crew meals and good catering leftovers... Otherwise its almost all the same. We are trying to get a better match and something close to a 10% direct contribution.

Any credit already for deadhead pay? We have a great deadhead credit of 0%, what a joke. Hours and hours of our time spent in airplanes with zero credit or pay.
$180/12 year Captain pay would be nice. Seems like your Captain wages are a bit lower than ours (on an hourly basis) right now. Hope you guys are successful in raising that!
Good Luck with the hopefully soon TA.
Ours is still years away I fear....
