They look correct as of right now.

IIRC, first year FO pay used to be $35/hr vs. the current $48.

There are decent step raises on each anniversary of the signing date (except for first year, which is steady at $48) and at the end of the current contract (2019?) the 14-year FO rate is up to $135.10 and 14-year CA rate is $201.64.

The initial raises were anywhere between 20-30%. the contract is very back end loaded. Years 4 and 5 are 6 and 8 percent increases respectively.

Commuting here isn't optimal but a lot of us do it. As a reserve, life isn't fun commuting and there doesn't seem to be a sense of urgency to improve anything. As a line holder, I bid the more junior lines and can get 18:30 shows and red eye finishes on the last day frequently. A lot of trips are surprisingly commutable and junior lines have been built to about 70 hours credit with 14-16 hard days off this summer. This place wasn't built for commuters but it's a lot of fun and can surprise you since a lot of guys in Msp want to be home every night. We're hiring so much now that you can count on fairly rapid movement and there are a lot of decent crashpads in the area. After the investment of time sitting in Msp for initial on your own, it wouldn't be too difficult to hold a commutable line, or spend the extra night in the pad for 24+ hours in the Caribbean the next day.

Sounds like a great place to work, especially if your local. How likely is it to be able to pick up OT during the first year? I assume reserve is expected for the first year, but just trying to crunch the numbers. I have an interview scheduled, and yes not commuting would be nice.

You can pick up OT when you can hold a line. Depending on hiring you could be off reserve in a few months. Some guys like reserve. You will fly a lot less than a line holder but have less days off. Good luck!

So I'm hearing several regional first officers are jumping over to Sun Country. Anyone know what hours they are actually looking for? is the 2000 TT firm?

Hows the $20,000 training contract set up? gotta be there for 18 months or pay it?

Yes it is. I honestly don't think you can get on without 4-5k TT. I think it's an insurance thing. Pro rated over 18 months.
New hire class's seem to be anywhere from 5000 to 10000+ total time.

So with the contract expect roughly $1100 each month? And then after that 18 month training contract is there any retention bonus or profit sharing?
