NAA has furloughed 41 and you would be amazed how many guys are picking up open time and flying on their days off. It's sad. As for 762NA, it an ok bird.

We have dirt bags that do the same thing at World; They are always making deals, breaking the contract and pi$$ing in everyone else's pockets.

What's even more amazing is 3 of them are TWA guys that have recall rights to AA. One told some guys in Leipzig he didn't care about the furloughed pilots, he was at NAA to make money.

Looks like 273 is going from GYD to TPE for a C check on 5/19 and coming back to BWI on 6/21. That is some good news. It should keep a few more pilots on property and bring back some f/a's as well.

I just rode to the hotel with an Evergreen crew. They said Evergreen had just picked up two of World's 747-400s. Can anyone shed any light on the rumor? Fact or fiction? They said they also heard Evergreen is recalling all furloughees.

Evergreen has one 400 in conversion, picked up one 400 that World had been leasing, and is looking at others. All furloughees are on the way back and the training pipeline is backed up.
