Omni Air in Tulsa is recruiting !!!!

Does Omni have a decent amount of hard lines? Or is it a lot of reserve like most ACMI carriers? Also, without having trip or duty rigs....do you guys still get a min day when on the road?
I applied over the weekend....6000 total, 121,135, and 91 time. Hope to hear back. I always had my heart set on 121 charter. It seems like the best of both worlds.

Omni is almost all Military flying. They pick-up a few contracts here and there like the Aer Lingus contract they will start flying soon. Or the Bolivian flying they did for a few years. But most is all Military (e.g. From U.S. Military base to Bangor - Shannon - Kuwait - back or flying short flights for the military in the middle east). The also do some scheduled service for the Military out of Seattle to Japan and Korea. But that might change as every year it is awarded to different carriers.
If they like you and you volunteer all your days off every month you might break guarantee. If you don't volunteer you will never break guarantee. I only worked there for a little while and volunteered all my days and never broke guarantee. Hence I don't work there anymore.

Your volunteer time on your days off you get $250/day plus flight time pay or ~3.33hr if you're not operating. In the normal schedule of 18 days, it's rare to break the 60hr guarantee, specifically on the 777. If on the 767 you might get a little closer. Diversity of flying is better on the 76 but the 777 is a beast. Great group of people at Omni but be ok with long times on the road, followed by weeks off at home.
