Ideas are being floated around all the time. I hate to say tuned because people as a commodity are moving fast. But that's all anyone can do right now with Via. Stay tuned.

As line guys, we hear different things from different people from the company. I think that news, while solid that we're getting X's, was premature in announcement. From the minute amount of info we do get, I don't think management has a solid plan yet in regards to what they're going to do about staffing for the X's. Some of the 145 guys want in on that action. I do think that finding 145 guys that want to live in WV will be extremely difficult, and I'm quite certain that management now realizes that might not be the way to go.

I keep pushing for home basing new FO's because they are getting no applications for WV base... I know, shocking right? But our HR lady just resigned so she could move to St Pete, so I'm not sure what's going to happen on the hiring front. If their fleet projection goes to plan, they will need to hire a lot in the next year

Not out of business. Caesars breached the contract, so Via has found numerous other contracts on both the E120 and E145. Fleet plan is to double E120 fleet from 4 to 8. E145 fleet is presently at 6 but rumor is 2-3 more coming on line in the next few months for an as yet unnamed customer. Company is paying all pilots full salary to sit at home until new contracts start, so the owner has work for us to do in the near future or they would have furloughed us all.
121 certificate is in hand and in use. 2 aircraft have already finished conformity with the rest scheduled to be completed by October.
