Personal relationships are what will get you the better corporate jobs. Thats how I got mine. Now our company is looking to hire a FO in the next month or so. I guarantee the job won't be advertised publicly. We only go by personal recommendations from the current pilots. Thats the way that almost all the good jobs are filled.

Not to Flame you, but I hope your Masters isn't in English. Please tell me it was late and you had too many beers when you wrote this.

Ok, so I have a question then. You all say to network. Hang arond and meet the pilots. How do i do that at Coke? Their office is in a secured part of the airport. You have to go through a gate to get in. And if I even got so lucky as to get in. Wha tthen? hang around the foyer until I see what loks like a pilot? Then what? Grab him and say what? He'll think I am some crazy guy and call the cops.

Get a job at the FBO that fuels their a/c. Or better yet, get a job with them cleaning puke of the floor.

I remember the response from the PM that you sent me concerning Coca-Cola. Again, I would take the advice of GeewhizDriver & geosynchronous; write letters, send resume(s), continuous contact and remember...tenacity...always TENACITY.
