Hell I wasn't anywhere NEAR "qualified" per the ad that was posted for my current job when I was hired...it obviously didn't hold me down.

Excellent advice from BoilerUp.
I have never met the published "minimums" at any corp job I have had (all 3)
Always apply, always follow up periodically. The idea of waiting until you meet the mins then simply sending in a resume is pretty much a waste in the corporate world.
NETWORK. Get on all the corp sites yesterday..(BizAvCentral, PPW, Flightinfo)...all 3 charge a whopping $10 a year, mostly to keep trolls away, and the amount of info you will get will be very valuable.
Openings, contacts, pay, etc..if there is a corporate or charter opening - these places have it. BAC is run by two corporate pilots - one a Chief Pilot, the other a Fortune 10 Captain. Both screen resumes and do the interviewing at their respective departments. Unlike some other boards, they dont keep it a secret who and where they work for and will help you make the transition and network. Many decent jobs are filled from the networking done on these sites.
Good Luck!
