Walmart, JB Hunt, ABF or Alltel?

Does anyone know anything about the quality of life flying for any of these corporations-WalMart, JBHunt, Tyson, ABF, Alltel? Days off, pay, schedules, aircraft that they fly? Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have been doing some research into how often some Corp gig's fly and I went to a website called www.flightaware.com If you know the tail number then just plug in the tail number and it will give all of the trips flown in the past four months. It gives you a good idea of how often you would fly and where you go. If you don't know the tail number but you know where they fly out of, then you can plug in the airport and it will tell you all the arrivals and departures from that airport and just find the type of plane they fly and click on the flight and it will tell you the owner and everything. Good luck

Hey thanks. I am very familiar with that webiste. I use it all the time to track tailnumbers that I know. So, of course, I've already tried tracking some their planes, but Walmart has it so you cannot track their tailnumbers.

Then why did you even bother posting that? If you have nothing to say, why say anything?

It's a unique function called "edit." Thanks for your concern, Sir Master Flight Instructor!

Wal-mart has a huge fleet of Lear 31s and some 35s, and looking to upgrade to 40/45s'. You can expect to fly 5 days a week, mostly out and backs from their place in Arkansas.

I use to work on one of Hunts planes back in the 80s (jetstar) and that was typical Big Corp. ops and may still be . So you can expect about 10 -12 days a month average 100 nights a way per year. Check out the latest Pro-pilot Mag. issue for salary ranges.

Verizion (probably similar to Alltel) has a couple of Falcon 2000s' at Dullas (IAD) that I see when I'm there, other than that, probably typical ops with good pay, and got to know somebody to get hired :)

thats all i know -bout that.

later

Wow, hit a sore spot did I? Some people put that they edited out their comment so people wouldn't get confused. Give it a try, when everyone seems supprised, you can say that you got the idea from a "Sir Master Flight Instructor", that way people will know where you got such a good idea.

Anyways, back on topic (sort of) how does Walmart block their tail numbers from being tracked from FlightAware?
