Still learning system....with that said, I have seen various memory aids regarding preflighting the FMS. Here is what I have. Please share your versions and add comments, ideas, etc.

Does anyone have any for each approach, ILS / VOR / RNAV, etc ? yes sounds corny but being an EFIS-85 guy this may enhance my safety level. If you have one please share it

I am all about dumping info from brain cells to paper checklists or memory aids.

Nope. It is too easy. Load the approach, enter your speeds, set your baro-mins, you are done.

One thing you can do when setting up your flight plan is the R5 button. It will usually lead you in the right direction as to what you need to enter next.

ie
Flight Plan with then lead you to Perf Init which will lead you to Takeoff which will lead you to send takeoff speed numbers to your PFD's speed tape.

It just comes with practice and figuring out what process works for you!
