Heidrick Partners
Was curious if anyone knows anything about Heidrick Partners, out of Washington D.C. for the Aircraft Operations Officer position?
Thanks. |
I am curious about them too. I got an unsolicited email about the Aircraft Operations Officer asking me to fill out an app. Holding off giving all my personal details for now.
|
I've filled out all the apps they've sent, nothing really personal at all. I got the "pre-employment skills evaluation" emailed to me this afternoon. Seems there's a huge lack of information about this job, when I applied it was for an Airbus but very vague other than it was Washington DC based.
Anybody else get the assessment? |
From what I gather, it's for a Flight Instructor position. In the email for the online assessment is a link to a study guide, Fundamentals of Instructing. The assessment goes fairly deep, with 100 multi guess questions.
|
Based on the questions in the assessment it could be for an airplane pilot, piston helicopter pilot, or ship captain. Odd mix of questions. Why not say it's a pilot position and not Aircraft operations officer?
|
Can someone post the link for this position or do you have to wait to hear from them.

Originally it mentioned something about an airbus, but the attached job description mentions no specific airplane. The description seems very generic too.

I got the employment assessment link yesterday. The e-mail says that the test review information can be downloaded from the site for your review before you start the test. HOWEVER, every time I click the download link it needs me to pay for the book, $17.50.
I'm probably being cheap, but I do not want to spend money to take an employment assessment test when nobody even knows what the job is about. Has anyone been able to view the material without paying for the online book, for a mystery job that we don't even know specifics about? *Update* I called the 1-800 number on their website and it is only a voice automated answering service. It does not even mention the name of the company. You can only leave a message for "your party", and the party is always unavailable. I know it's Saturday, but I figured you can reach a real person with a 1-800 number. Be very leary everybody. It might be a scam. |
I took the assessment without downloading the review...pretty basic stuff so no problem with that. I still have not filled out the application nor given references but got another email tonight asking me to complete those docs. I would love to know what this was all about.
