I think a Jetstream FO position around high 20's, low 30's.

Chicago Midway to Manistee is one of their routes on the 32. I have a feeling it wont last very long much like the Lake Shore Express did on the Saab.

I have a good friend who flies for them. He's always liked the management and they are a solid company. That said, CFM is really just an intermediate stop to build time/experience if you have high aspirations. The pay is substandard and the company realizes that most pilots are strictly there for resume padding.

Bad management that will stab you in the back at any given time. You have a "schedule," but if they want you to fly on a day off, you will or you can expect to be terminated. Days off are still two hour call out. This is by far the worst company I have ever worked for, and I have certainly worked for some bad operators. Watch your back, especially with DM.

Any updates on this company? I know they've got the GLO contract for the Saab 340s. Looking for QOL, etc.

Added routes for Jetstream 31/32 and 41 this year. Looking to hire around 40 pilots mostly for the Jetstream as well the beechjet and saab.

I've been here since February and scheduling has improved. I now know my schedule a few days prior to the start of the next month and have only had 1 or 2 popups which were to just reposition an aircraft after it has come out of maintenance.

Days off are now hard days off unless you sell them back to the company. Benefits are the usual 401k, per diem, health/vision/dental insurance etc.

I interviewed with them earlier this year for a 41 captain position in Smyrna but ended up not taking it.

Pay and benefits were up to par for me, mintaintance looked good, the people were friendly, and overall I enjoyed most of what I saw. The problem was they couldn't tell me a straight answer on the schedule. He kept saying "well if we hire 4 more captains and 3 more first officers on your aircraft m then we can get to this schedule" but not a straight answer on the current one...though seemed like a lot of being gone and being on call. I am all about QOL and being home, so that needless to say veered me away.

Though from what the person above said, sounds like they have been fixing that with hard days off, etc.

They were wanting to hire A LOT of pilots when I was looking at their white board of current and needed pilots. Seemed like both in MQY and PIT.

To be fair, a new CEO and owner took over a little more than a year ago. He's brought in a completely new management team that has completely changed the company and culture for the better. In addition to all of the Jetstream/Saab/Beechjet hiring, the company has added three CRJ's, a Challenger 605 and a Global Express. There's now a nice mix of scheduled turboprop and on-demand jet flying. They've made an effort to hire from within for the upgrades when possible, but I know we are still looking for a lot more pilots. I can think of a few guys that left for the airlines and then came back to CFM. All in all, especially now, I think it's a great place to work. It's not perfect, but no operator is. I think the difference here is that management is very approachable and willing to listen to suggestions.
