Yes, throws a wrench into bidding into that fleet and being junior. No bailing out of SC after the bank of 330's leaves when they have them flying domestic.

I heard we are getting a dozen gently used dot matrix printers from lease returns at IBM. Also some sweet new ergonomic keyboards from Microsoft. BF Goodrich has some used tires and belt loader treads we might get our hands on. Then there's the machine tools from snap-on if we can get the mechanics to give up road trip overtime. Blah... blah... blah... WGAS.

Just don't be the BHM commuter guy on SC who left early after all the 330s left only to have one air return and be in need of one more pilot...

What we know for sure is, the 747 fleet is shrinking, and the A350 replacements won't be here for another year or so. The A321's are replacements for the 757's and the A330Neo are replacements for the 767's and or 767-400's and eventually the 777's as well.
I just flew our oldest 777, I think it came on line in 1998, so in two years it'll be 20 years old, just in time to be replaced by an A330Neo.
We'll all be speaking French before we retire!
