BP five will be around May of next year if the plan holds. Some like the 744 will be as early as Feb 2010. (That is what we are shooting for)

What needs to happen is constant pressure and letters to your reps from now to the end of section 6 negotiations. That could be 2013. If you want this you need to make sure the fight lasts as long as it takes.

I think this is a good place to start for mid contract improvements, with out opening section 6.

BP5 is nov this year for the bus and jan 2010 for the dc9 per the company

I believe TWG 09-01 says otherwise. It told Delta North pilots that BP5 would hit the 744's first, then the A330/A320's, then the 757/DC9. The 757/DC9 BP5 is slated for January 2010, according to the memo.

I found an ALPA rag from 1992 (I believe) the other day, and the title was "Restoring the Profession"... Call me cynical, but the phrase is ringing hollow. I'm getting a little weary of "restoring", "taking it back" whatever the grand poobah decides is the phrase of his administration; it is getting old. Anyway..... it's deja vu all over again, I know how it ends, and it isn't in our favor.
