If you're gonna be a buzz kill, you probably need to start drinking as well. Only seems fair.

Thankfully we have a 2011 model so I'm sure they've replaced all your old problems with newer more creative (and expensive) problems!
Gosh I hope so. Hopefully that new body style and stuff is a lot better. When they work they're fantastic vans.

Carl,

When people bring up the DOH or relative argument, I just state what the ruling was. Three arbitrators decided what they thought was fair. End of story.

I have 850's and yes they do work on every 88/90 ship. Move the volume switch to the Hi position on the headset, then turn the volume down on the audio control panel and they work just fine.

I'll give that a shot thanks.

Had to have the brake rotors replaced after about 2 years, but I suspect that was mostly driver induced. Only negative I can think of is that Honda does fall short on their warranties compared to their closest competitors.

Hava a friend with a Kia and it was in and out of MX the first year pretty frequently but has been reliable since then. Don't know anything about the RAV 4.

We have a Sonata (2009) and you can't beat the warranty (5/60 bumper to bumper and 10/100 powertrain). The Kias are all rebadged Hyundais. If you like the styling I don't think you can go wrong with a Kia. They also have great features even with the low end models (much better and usually cheaper than the competition). They are getting great writeups for value and dependability.

Default Ae Training question

How is training sequenced for the different categories ! Ie: AE, VD, MD. I couldn't find contract language that covers this part of our AE process.

Thanks,
BG (displacement boy )

Section 22 of the contract covers this depending on which category you fall into. I think you're an MD so page 22-9 talks about it. With MDs, training is done in inverse seniority order.

I sold all of them several years ago and kept my 2000 chevy 1 ton crew cab 4x4. I still drive it daily. It rolled over 230k miles recently. The only non fluid changing mx I've ever done to it is replacing the ball joints at about 200k. It still has the original a/c compressor with the original charge. Great truck, but the difference between chevy and ford is really in the 4x4 mode. Fords lock up all 4 wheels, chevys are just limited slip. I have pulled my chevy out of a field with one of my fords more than once.

Low mile 7.3 powerstrokes from 2002 and earlier still sell for upwards of $20k. ford 6.0 liters are much less expensive because of the engine troubles.

Betcha didn't know ford and chevy 3/4 ton and larger use gm frames. Yield management.
Scambo ... Agree totally.

I've got an '02 F-350 with the 7.3 and six speed. I ordered it right after 9/11 and waited about three months.

Have upgraded the engine quite a bit. It's very powerful...can tow a 10,000 lb trailer up a six percent grade at 65 mph.

Several years ago I realized it was stupid to drive this thing around doing errands, etc. Now it only gets driven when I need its towing or hauling capabilities so it should last a long time.

I really like the truck and I can't get another like it as you can no longer get a manual transmission in a Diesel Super Duty!
