When can you expect to get an aircraft assignment when it shows NBCNEWB in your category?

Um, what?

New hires get aircraft assignments the first day or so of class, except for CPZ flows and sometimes their classmates who may also get the chance to bid prior to class. Depending on when the list is published, you will see the NEW category.

Its a non event for anyone already hired, and irrelevant for anyone not yet hired.

Good point, Sputnik. I pulled iCrew numbers, not AE.

7ER FOs seem to be moving on to bigger and better things and there are very few pilots on property moving into the 7ER FO category. The 330 will siphon FOs from all narrow-bodies and 757s are (slowly) going away so I think the trend will continue for a while.

I could be wrong but I continue to move up in the DTW 7ER category on every AE despite it getting smaller.

I read on here at some point that you are granted access to Deltanet a little before your indoc starts so you can start to figure everything out. Is that still the case? How long before class are you able to access it?

Thanks in advance, can't wait to start!

Your employee number should arrive via snail mail about a week before you start. Maybe a little less. We had several in my class that hadn't received it at all before indoc, and it was no big deal.

When we were offered the job this week AK said that there were a few seats left in the 18 May class. That's about all I know.

On a side note, is any aircraft training not in Atlanta right now?

Some 717, some 737, and rumored to be some 7ER training is in MIA.

Not rumored. Some 7ER peeps are doing maneuvers training (300 series) in MIA.
