looks like the Wellesley only has a shuttle every 40 minutes. Any other good options out there?

My advice to new hires is to suck it up and pay for a single occupancy hotel. It is the option with the fewest potential distractions since you don't have to worry about roommates, transportation, or a long commute. It's $2,000 in a $5 million career. The numbers work out favorably.
We're currently working on getting full hotels paid for in the upcoming contract. There's a pretty good chance it will happen IMHO, I'm in favor of it and its the right thing to do. But if you are fortunate enough to get hired sooner with more seniority as a result, that alone will financially be worth orders of magnitude more than the paltry career long cost of a couple weeks hotel on the front end. Don't even factor where you go to initial training into your decision making process its not worth it.

Couple questions on locations:
What's the quickest way to DTW? I saw a spreadsheet posted in Oct stating the 717 was most junior there but someone in Delta said the 320 was most junior, in fact the 737 was junior to the 717 as well.
Also, which is more junior in ATL, the 88 or 717?
Obviously not being a Delta employee (yet) I can't look up the awarded bids at each base.

I stayed at the Staybridge Suites down there in ATL for training. Had a roomie that I hooked up with in Indoc, but we were on different schedules so it wasn't too bad. Free breakfast everyday and free dinner & Beer Tues, Wed, & Thurs. I had a car.
