Stare at your hotel-room wall. 'Least that's what I've done LoL. Sorry can't really help you there - they've all been short overnights for me!

MLI!!! actually, it's one of our best overnights...we stay down in Rock Island @ the holiday inn select i think...nice hotel, about a block from the casino, and across the street from one of the bar districts (there's a couple colleges right around the area)...it's actually one of our best overnights, however, if you're staying out by the airport...there really isn't shizzy to do.

John Deere factory
Cheap buffet at a casino
Try and bag a co-ed from one of the local colleges

These seem to be the best options.

Couple of years ago I had 30 hour layovers in Dec in MLI. There were two crews with this long layover per night. I will describe our layovers for you.
Arrive at 11ish pm. Go to hotel. Change. Ditch our respective psycho FAs. Go across the street to Steves Tap. Get obliterated. Try to find our hotel room. Pass out. Sleep till 1 or 2. Get up. Work out for about an hour. Go to the riverboat casino and cash in our free $5 coupon. Go to the buffet that is half price and use the fiver to pay the rest. I think the whole cost of the buffett was about 35 cents to us. Go back to room and try to sleep to get up at the as crack of dawn.

Have fun.

Haven't been to it in a few years, but get a cab to the Iowa side by the other smaller airport. Just on the turnout for it is Big Jim's Southern Comfort. All nude, $10 cover, BYOB but no bottles. It's better than you think and probably the best nude bar I've ever been to.

Gamble a bit and as soon as you're up $30, you've got yourself a night.
