Hi, I currently have a slight color deficiency, now i have gone to my own eye doctor and have take the divorne, and Ishihara Color Test and have passed each fine. But my problem is that i have seen some AMEs plate books and there about 20-30 years old, falling apart and faded. Ive done a lot of research on the subject and this can make a difference for some one that has a slight deficiency. I have no problem with the test when the plates are taken care of and not faded. So my question is does the faa or ame's have a problem bringing your own Ishihara Color Test to your medical?? Thanks

I'd also like to add that while everyone is feeling stressed right now over jobs, finances, the economy, etc etc, all of that will come to an end one day. It will not always be like this. The "new normal" is going to be an unknown, but we just need to hang on and do the best we can. My late mother used to give us kids words of wisdom and she'd do in her I-have-eaten-more-salt-than-you-have-eaten-rice tone. I always listened to her and I'm the better for it.
