Don't think so, you might be confusing base and established fares. You get the established fare if you deviate after the start of the bid month and the established fare is the actual ticket price which I suppose could be lower than the base (accepted equivalent) fare

TA 8.C.4.c says that if you rebook your initial deviation ticket the pilot is responsible for the actual cost of the ticketing fee, not to exceed $25. It says these costs are handled in accordance with 8.C.5.c which mentions payroll deduction.
I'm not sure if these additional $25 ticketing fees can be claimed on your expense report or if they must be paid personally via payroll deduction.
I know I change my deviation tickets all the time as I trip trade, and for other reasons so I'm not happy with this if I read it correctly.
But, the language is hard to understand....what are your takes on this?

I think you may be right as I reread it and the definitions. Deviate prior to bid period and you get larger if baseline or established fare. Deviate after bid period starts and you get established fare.

Have you ever talked to him? He's an old school DW guy...I have spent many hours listening to him justify the age 60 guys coming back up to the front. And justify our sorry ass stance of "needing a seat at the table." He would have voted down a 50% increase in instructor pay...imho.
I'm curious to hear how his LEC treasurer voted. She was against seeing the language, but she was the one reading the bonus talking points on utube. Some flipped...curious if she was one.
Sorry to dredge up old wounds and my biases. Didn't agree with the way we handled age 60 and I haven't moved past the 3rd stage of the 7 stages of grief. And he was a huge proponent of the way it was handled.

Do I read TA 8.3.e correctly that the company can DH a pilot back to Memphis if no commercial seat is available?
We keep on saying the company would be in a bind if pilots stop deviating. This now releases the company from this problem. They are smart--they keep removing items that could be "problematic" with any situation where they lose pilots' goodwill.
Pilots have gotten extra pay before because of the lack of air service to Memphis, now they'll just book you on the company Jumpseat and only have to give you a deviation bank. Say goodby to the sub/OTP "bonus" under these circumstances.

It also says: if they extended you in the field and now you won't make your next trip they can Jumpseat you back to base to make that trip!

I know guys that have spent an extra 6 days in Paris on the company dime, with FULL per diem, not that cheap pilot per diem.
Another reason to vote NO.
I've changed from just plain NO, to heck NO, and I am getting close to NFW!
