Default Reality "check"

I've been doing some research and found that first year regional F/O pay varies greatly even though hourly wage is pretty much the same. What are people taking home after taxes and everything else deducted from the paychecks bi-weekly? What are pilots doing to "increase" their paychecks? I've seen anywhere from the low 15k to 32k listed in the forums. Why the big difference? Is it because of reserve?

Reserve vs having a line, time away from base (per diem), and work rules (cancellation pay, bid periods, monthly guarantee, etc.), how hard you want to work, etc.

I'm taking home (after taxes) about $1,000/two weeks at SkyWest, first year on the Brasilia with a line. Not great, but better than I expected. I usually have about 14 days off/ mo.
