Default Pac NW flight schools

Ive done a bit of research on here for schools in the PNW and it seems most threads are a few years old. Im just looking for any insight from anyone that may have some of the most recent info in regards to any of the flight schools in the PNW. Im currently in chats with Hillsboro and Leading Edge so if you know of any others and can share some info....PLEASE do. Thanks

go part 61 if you can. It's cheaper and you'll get the same quality of instruction as a larger 141 in Oregon.

Thats also an option. I have the GI Bill so I guess I could just go to my local college and use the Housing stipend to pay for flight time too along with being able to stay at work while knock out licenses.

Default Make it an IHL with Flight Program

There are three good options in Oregon:
- Lane Community College (Lane Aviation Academy)
- Central Oregon Community College
- Portland Community College (Hillsboro Aviation tie-in)

All three are "IHLs (Intitutions of Higher Learning) with Flight Programs", which makes it possible for you to be paid to take Private Pilot instruction through your VA GI Bill.

PM me if you'd like more info.
