Default Central Washington University Open House

For those of you who are interested, or know people who are interested, in the Aviation program at Central Washington University, we will be having an open house on Sat. April 18. It will start at 10 am and last till 3 pm. We will be providing more information on our Flight Officer and Aviation Management Degrees.

You will be able to:
  • Tour our facilities.
  • Meet with our faculty, who will be able to answer any questions.
  • View our advanced training fleet and simulators
The Open House is located at 1101 Bowers Rd. Ellensburg, WA 98926. There is more information at www.cwu.edu/~flight. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

If your an aspiring pilot, I suggest you go and check it out. Midstate/Central have a good program, plus they are getting new simulators.

OMG...Skyhigh, you should go.

I went to a CWU aviation outreach event about 10 years ago at Ike in Yakima. Good presentation on the program but CWU was touting their bridge program with Horizon. I had to bring up the point that Horizon hadn't hired in like 3 years (that was back then). Poor guy had no idea I was a UPS pilot there to represent a kid interested in aviation. What's really funny is said kid-pilot-wannabe-ended up working for QX as a mechanic. And more power to him for getting his A and P and getting a job at QX.

Sorry Dclark,

Do a search for Skyhigh. More power to ya and the CWU flight program. I almost went that route back in 79. Unfortunately, I just can't NOT mention that the most "anti-aviation career" user at APC is very much in your midst.

Do a search for Skyhigh. He might even be your landlord...

Sky could organize a flotilla of the local tradesmen up there to picket outside this event with signs like "Plumbers Do It Better!" and "It's a Job, Not A Life!"
