Default Changing flight school during integrated tr.?

Hi everyone!

I'm a private pilot from Slovakia, Europe. Maybe there is somebody who could answer my question- two years ago, I started an integrated ATPL training at the university (in accordance with JAR/FCL). I have now finished the bachelor degree and there is still plenty of flight hours to finish- I have approximately 136h TT including 40h of FNPT2, I have finished the VFR part along with 2h40m night time and now I am in the SE/IFR phase. Problem is, that I am not satisfied with the intensity of flying- the first part of the training went fine, all the VFR flights went fluently without any longer breaks. But as I started the IFR section of training, it is very discontinuous and I rather don't fly than fly 1h a week. I see it as wasting money and time.
So this is it- is it possible to change flight school in this part of training? I also have to mention, that I have already started the ATPL examinations with the authority, there are only 6 subjects left. I am now confused- go ahead and finish the training in the way I don't like, spend a lot of money and time inefficiently or find a way how to change a flight school?

From a US perspective...

Unless there were financial penalties (ie no refund) for dropping out, I would not hesitate to change schools if the first one is not meeting your needs.

Europe might be different. I don't know, but I would be concerned that references from the school which did your training might be important for getting an airline job? Might there be a perception that you had training problems of some sort? This is not the case in the US, but you might want to ask around about that just to be safe.

In my contract, there is not even a word about cancellation/dropping the training. From this point of view, there is no problem. You are right about the references- I am not sure about this. It is true that there is possibly a sort of a ''less trust'' approach from the view of future employer. I hate being in this situation. Before I entered the integrated course, there were no warnings from anybody about my school, everything seemed to work properly. The true is, that there is not enough instructors and airplanes to make the ATPL training fluent and efficient. Otherwise, I could finish all the training one year ago...
